Holly Tallon, LPC Associate
Holly serves as an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Dr. Treva Barham, LPC-S. She has an M.S. in Christian Ministry from Pepperdine University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. She is incredibly honored to spend time with individuals and couples who are seeking healing and growth. She is committed to welcoming her clients into a warm, encouraging, peaceful space as they navigate challenges and strive to make changes in their lives.
Within a cognitive-behavioral framework, Holly uses a strengths-based and person-centered approach to encourage her clients toward their goals. Along with providing space to explore stories, emotions, and experiences, she offers education, tools, and resources for clients to take with them between sessions and beyond. Holly provides therapy for people wrestling with anxiety, depression, transitions, grief, OCD, trauma, anger, addiction, and questions of purpose and identity. She primarily sees adults and couples, but she is able to provide services for children and teens as well. In addition to regular counseling sessions, she also offers Career & Vocation Assessment and loves helping people explore personality, interests, and gifts.
Holly is guided in her counseling ministry by the words of Jesus, who said that we will all have trouble in this world, but that we can take heart and be of good cheer because he has overcome the world (John 16:33). For many people, counseling is a significant part of acknowledging and processing life's troubles and pains, while fostering hope and moving toward greater peace.
Having lived all over the world before settling in Longview 12 years ago, Holly is thankful to be rooted in East Texas with her family. She is married to Luke, and they have 3 awesome teenagers.
