Individual counseling
Are you looking for support during a difficult season in your life? Individual counseling can help you work through the struggles or losses in your life. Individual counseling consists of meeting regularly with a trustworthy and relational counselor to explore your thoughts, early life experiences, any traumatic or overwhelming life event and/or difficulties you are currently facing. Individual counseling can help you increase your understanding of the way you engage with the world, with God, and with yourself. Our counselors can help you in developing insight into patterns creating difficulties in your life. Deeper self-knowledge promotes healing, self-worth, spiritual growth, and can help you move forward from the struggles and hurts in your life. Individual counseling is available for adults, adolescents and children ages 6+ years.
Marriage & couple counseling
Struggling to move forward in your relationship? Has miscommunication led to increased conflict and stress with your partner? premarital counseling
Are you engaged and want to as prepared as possible to take that next step? Do you want to be proactive in understanding what all marriage entails? Are you wondering if you and your partner are ready to get married?
Premarital counseling will help provide an opportunity to seek wisdom and receive counsel about marriage in a safe, fun, and authentic environment. Counseling will address common questions and challenges for from a biblical perspective.
Spiritual Formation
What if all God really wants for you is as simple as deepening your love relationship with Him? If that is true, what would that look like and how can that happen? For years I practiced well many spiritual disciplines. All of which have been incredible ways to love, know, and follow God. However, at best, these practices only seemed to scratch the surface of my heart and my longing to love God more deeply.
Spiritual Formation Groups offer a different approach to our journey in becoming more like Christ. Instead of a program or a way to practice our own individual spiritual growth, these groups become a place where community is built and the Spirit of God begins His work of transformation in our lives individually and collectively. SFG pushed me beyond my traditional spiritual upbringing where I have always "done more" to know God. This approach allowed me to experience and understand a relational faith, where I can "be with" the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit and be formed into the likeness of Jesus. Through the Truth of Scripture, practicing presence with God and others, surrendering and receiving grace, this community became a sacred space and a living expression of what it looks like to love others out of our deepening love of God. SFG is a great step for anyone who is hungering for more of God and seeking to discover more of how God works in our lives.
telehealth
Are you needing counseling but don’t have the time or ability to meet with a counselor face to face? When you don't have the time, availability or ability to see a counselor in person, telehealth sessions can be great option to get the support you need in a way that fits your schedule. With telehealth counseling, you get the same expertise, tools, skills and an authentic and genuine relationship with a licensed professional counselor, but at the times and in the places that work best for you, and with the level of confidentiality and privacy you deserve. Hope Road Counseling Center offers counseling sessions over the phone or video conferencing through a secure and HIPPA approved platform.
