Julie Johnson, MA, LPC

Julie has known from a young age that God was calling her into ministry. With a heart for people and a particular passion for adolescents and young adults, she considers it a privilege to walk alongside others during some of the most formative seasons of their lives. She believes deeply in the power of connection and strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

For 15 years, Julie served as the Preschool and Children’s Director at her church. As she poured into children and families—and watched her own three sons grow older—she began to feel the gentle tug of the Holy Spirit leading her ministry in a new direction. That calling ultimately led her into the counseling profession, where she could continue serving others while expanding her ministry through professional counseling.

As a counselor, Julie is passionate about meeting people where they are and walking alongside them with empathy, compassion, and authenticity. She believes every person has a unique story and that meaningful change begins with feeling understood and accepted. Her faith is foundational to who she is and to the way she approaches her calling.

Julie often says, “This path is one that God created, and I am obediently following His path.” She considers counseling not simply a profession, but an extension of the ministry God placed on her heart many years ago.

Julie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from LeTourneau University in 2008 and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University in 2022. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.

Outside of counseling, Julie has been married for 23 years and is the proud mom of three sons. She loves watching her boys live their best lives, making memories with her family, and traveling whenever they can. Her greatest joy is seeing people discover their worth, find hope, and become the people God created them to be.
